A Study on the Relationship Between Marital Adjustment and Mental, Physcial Sympotoms of House Wives

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was attempted to examine the relationship between marital adjustment and mental, physical symptoms of house wives.
To gain the aims, the survey was performed at J city and the subjects were 118 house wives.
The data were collected using the questionnaire and were analyzed by percentage, mean, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient.
The results were summarized as follows
1. The degree of marital adjustment of house wives was proved to be significantly different by the variable : education (F=6.463, p<0.01), marital time (F=4.382, p<0.01) 2. The total mean score of CMI in respondents was 28.8.
3. In comparison of the symptom complaint, there was no significant difference in general characteristics of house wives.
4. The correlation between marital adjustment and mental, physical symptoms was statistically significant (r=-0.2902, p<0.01).
